Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of TCEQ rules and guidance (30 TAC Chapters 30, 290, 344) and cross-connection control.
• Experience with backflow prevention and testing procedures; ability to assess hazards and determine appropriate measures.
• Strong record-keeping skills and ability to manage electronic compliance systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct customer service inspections and cross-connection surveys for various service connections within the City.
• Identify hazards, evaluate backflow conditions, and determine required backflow prevention methods.
• Maintain electronic inventory of regulated facilities and ensure timely follow-up and enforcement actions.
