Job summary

Affirm is seeking an experienced test automation engineer to own and enhance our end-to-end testing framework and CI pipelines. You will design solutions to optimize execution time and stability, write technical specifications, and collaborate with engineering teams across the company.

You will contribute to our test strategy and break down complex projects into actionable tasks, participating in an on-call rotation. Remote-friendly role with collaboration across time zones.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of test automation experience.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright and Pytest.
• Experience designing and optimizing CI pipelines.
• Strong QA background and testing methodology knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with async collaboration.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Own, improve, and maintain test automation frameworks and CI pipelines.
• Design and implement solutions to optimize test execution time and stability.
• Write technical specifications and ADRs and collaborate with engineers.
• Support engineering teams with triage and best practices for QA and test automation.
• Contribute to the evolution of the company’s test strategy.
• Plan and break down projects into tasks with phased delivery.
