Job summary

Robinhood is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and build core systems that issue, custody, and settle tokenized equities on-chain. You will ensure synchronization with traditional brokerage and ledger systems while handling assets across multiple chains and jurisdictions.

You will lead technically complex projects end-to-end, make foundational architectural decisions, and mentor others in a high-stakes, correctness-critical environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in distributed systems.
• Experience delivering large-scale back-end services in production.
• Strong ownership and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate backend services for tokenized equities across blockchains.
• Lead end-to-end large, technically complex projects.
• Integrate traditional market infrastructure with on-chain systems including smart contracts.
• Collaborate with product, compliance, legal, and platform teams to meet regulatory constraints.
• Provide design reviews, code reviews, and mentorship.
