Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a backend engineer to design, develop, and maintain high-scale services that power the Kestrel UI foundation. You will work with Go, Python and a suite of tech including Cassandra, Kafka, OpenSearch, Kubernetes, and AWS.

This fully remote role is based in Ireland with plans for a Dublin office and future hybrid work. You will mentor peers and help ensure system reliability across multiple teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or commensurate experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, document, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance large-scale services.
• Triage system issues and debug by analyzing sources and impact on operations.
• Mentor other engineers on web and backend services.
• Continuously improve architecture, testing, and observability.
• Collaborate with product teams to document and implement new requirements.
• Participate in on-call responsibilities to maximize service availability.
