Job summary

CrowdStrike is hiring for a role in OverWatch Labs to build and maintain scalable data infrastructure and tools for analysts who hunt trillions of events per day. You will work on Go and Python backends, deploy on AWS, and integrate research into production.

The team values ownership, collaboration, and a strong bias for quality. You will be part of a distributed remote team across time zones, contributing to a platform that scales to millions of events per second and terabytes of data daily.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or commensurate experience.
• Experience with Go or another backend language (Python, Ruby) or Rust/C++.
• Built web-services with data processing pipelines and databases (Relational/NoSQL).
• Understanding of messaging/queueing systems (Kafka helpful).
• Linux skills and large-scale distributed systems in AWS.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with OverWatch engineering to build and maintain operational systems and tools.
• Extend the system by building new components and improving the platform for analysis and hunting.
• Bring research projects into production and integrate with OWL systems.
• Operate in a DevOps environment with on-call responsibilities.
