Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking an engineer to build and maintain scalable data infrastructure for the OverWatch Labs (OWL) platform. You’ll contribute to a distributed cloud-based system that processes trillions of events daily, using Go, Python, AWS, and modern data stores.

You’ll work across time zones on a fully remote team, with on-call responsibilities and a passion for open source collaboration. The role emphasizes scalable backend development, design reviews, and high-quality engineering

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science (or commensurate experience).
• Experience with Go or another language for developing web backends and pipelines (such as Python/Ruby/etc).
• Built web-services with data processing pipelines and databases (Relational and NoSQL).
• Understanding of distributed systems and scalability in Cloud environments like AWS.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with OverWatch engineering to build, develop, and maintain systems, projects, and tools.
• Extend the current platform and improve the OWL tooling for better analysis and hunting.
• Bring research projects into production and integrate with OWL systems.
• Work in a DevOps environment with on-call responsibilities.
• Take ownership and be accountable for deliverables.
