Job summary

Keck Medicine of USC seeks a Back Office Supervisor for the CVTI Clinic in Los Angeles. The role oversees Cardiac & Vascular Surgery Clinic operations, supervising staff and ensuring efficient daily workflows, including Rx refills and transcription support.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant, LVN or RN program
• Outpatient clinic experience preferred
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Excellent oral and written communication with patients and staff

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the Cardiac & Vascular Surgery Clinic staff.
• Supervise at least two full-time staff; manage evaluations, scheduling, hiring and disciplinary actions.
• Serve as Super User for the EHR; train staff and coordinate system changes.
• Assist in ensuring clinic readiness, audits, and adherence to policies.
• Oversee payroll/timecards processing and Rx refill data entry.
• Coordinate physician onboarding and interdepartmental communication.
