Job summary

USC Care Medical Group is seeking a Back Office Supervisor to manage daily operations of the Cardiac & Vascular Surgery Clinic in Los Angeles. The role supervises Medical Assistants, LVNs, and RNs, coordinating staffing, training, and performance evaluations under the Manager/Director.

You will support physician onboarding and liaise with HIM and the on-site EHR coordinator to ensure smooth clinic functioning.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant, LVN or RN program.
• 2–3 years outpatient clinic experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills with MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations for the Cardiac & Vascular Surgery Clinic.
• Supervise clinical staff and coordinate hiring/evaluations.
• Ensure staffing coverage during illness or vacations.
• Oversee billing, purchasing audits and supplies.
• Act as liaison to HIM and EHR on-site coordinator.
