Water Grill in Southern California is seeking a Back of House Supervisor to support the management team in a fast-paced kitchen. You will learn the culinary business and grow toward management training while working across stations and assisting the Chef and Sous Chef.

Qualifikationen

• Must be 21+ years old.
• High school graduate; some college preferred.
• At least 2 years of kitchen/cook experience.
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Able to perform basic math calculations.
• Able to maintain knowledge of menu, items, prices, and quality standards.
• Ability to focus on tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Capable of working with minimal supervision and as part of a team.

Aufgaben

• Oversees daily receiving, storage, and preparation of all food products.
• Records waste on tracking sheet and conducts nightly protein count.
• Counts weekly inventory in collaboration with KM/EKM.
• Ensures all products meet recipe specs and quality standards.
• Maintains timing standards during production and checks dish quality before service.
• Ensures health and safety regulations are followed; check temps and sanitation.
• Cooks when needed to support flow and communicates with manager on duty.
• Completes opening/closing duties and follows maintenance and cleaning schedules.
