Job summary

Burlington Stores in Tyler, TX is seeking a Full-Time Retail Stocking Team Supervisor to lead the Back of House operations and direct a team alongside Store Management. This role is a stepping-stone to store leadership and requires a proactive, team-oriented mindset.

You will supervise merchandise flow, maintain back room standards, and collaborate to drive results while upholding Burlington's values and safety guidelines. Strong communication and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in off-price, big box, or specialty retail.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive, engaging attitude.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as required.
• Ability to move/handle/lift store merchandise weighing 40 lbs. or more, and to stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead merchandise progression: receiving deliveries, unloading and sorting cartons, processing merchandise, and moving goods to the sales floor.
• Ensure back of house cleanliness, setup and organization are at standard.
• Reinforce Asset Protection strategies to reduce shortages.
• Promote safety for customers and associates by following guidelines.
• Direct associates and workload; coach and recognize performance.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new associates.
• Participate in weekly workload planning meetings.
• Coordinate meal and break periods and monitor schedule adherence.
