Job summary

Burlington is hiring a Full-Time Retail Stocking Team Supervisor for our Indianapolis, IN store. You will lead the back of house operations, manage receiving, unloading, sorting, and ensure merchandise flows to the sales floor while upholding safety and policy standards.

You will supervise a team, coordinate workload, participate in planning, and help recruit and onboard new associates. The role offers growth opportunities, competitive pay, flexible hours, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in off-price, big box, or specialty environments.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive, engaging attitude.
• Ability to work full-time including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs. or more and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead merchandise progression: receive deliveries, unload and sort cartons, process merchandise, and move goods to the sales floor.
• Ensure back of house cleanliness, setup and organization to standard.
• Reinforce asset protection strategies to prevent shortages.
• Promote safety for customers and associates by adhering to guidelines.
• Direct associates and workload; accountability for productivity and merchandise protection.
• Coach associates in the moment and provide recognition.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new associates.
• Participate in weekly workload planning meetings.
• Drive community relations participation through company programs.
• Coordinate meal and break periods and monitor schedule adherence.
