Job summary

Burlington Stores is hiring a Full-Time Retail Stocking Team Supervisor in Indianapolis. You’ll lead the back-of-house operations, supervise associates, and work closely with store management to keep merchandise flowing to the sales floor.

Responsibilities include directing workload, coaching team members, maintaining safety and loss-prevention standards, recruiting and onboarding new hires, and coordinating schedules. Competitive pay and benefits accompany this opportunity.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in an off-price, big box, or specialty environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and engaging attitude.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to move/lift 40 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead merchandise progression: receiving deliveries, unloading, sorting, and flowing goods to the sales floor.
• Ensure back-of-house cleanliness, setup, and organization.
• Reinforce Asset Protection to prevent shortages.
• Promote safety for customers and associates per guidelines.
• Coach associates in the moment and recognize performance.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new associates.
• Direct workload and accountability for team productivity.
• Participate in weekly workload planning meetings.
• Drive community relations through company programs and partnerships.
• Coordinate meal and break periods and monitor schedule adherence.
