Job summary

Burlington Stores is seeking a Full-Time Retail Stocking Team Supervisor to lead our Back of House/Receiving team. As a key member of store leadership, you’ll oversee daily operations, organize receiving, and ensure smooth merchandise flow to the sales floor.

You will guide a team, uphold Burlington's standards, and support growth through training and collaboration with management. Competitive pay, flexible hours, and associate discounts are offered.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in off-price or big box retail.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and engaging attitude.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to move/handle/lift store merchandise weighing 40 lbs. or more, and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead merchandise progression process (receiving deliveries, unloading and sorting cartons, processing merchandise, and flowing goods to the sales floor).
• Ensure back of house cleanliness, setup and organization to standard.
• Reinforce Asset Protection strategies to eliminate shortage.
• Promote safety for customers and associates by adhering to guidelines.
• Cultivate a diverse culture based on teamwork and collaboration.
• Drive associate compliance with company policies and standards.
• Direct associates and workload; accountability for productivity and merchandise protection.
• Coach associates in the moment and provide recognition.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new associates.
• Participate in weekly workload planning meetings.
• Drive Community Relations participation through company programs and partnerships.
• Coordinate meal and break periods and monitor schedule adherence.
