Job summary

Burlington is seeking a Full-Time Retail Stocking Team Supervisor to lead Back of House operations, directing receiving, unloading, sorting, and moving merchandise to the sales floor while partnering with Store Management to drive results and safety.

Great teamwork is essential as you coach associates, assist in recruiting and scheduling, and coordinate workload planning in a fast-paced, inclusive environment with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a retail/specialty environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive, engaging attitude.
• Ability to work full-time including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs+ and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead merchandise progression: receiving deliveries, unloading/sorting cartons, processing merchandise, and flowing goods to the sales floor.
• Ensure back-of-house cleanliness, setup and organization meet standard.
• Reinforce Asset Protection strategies to reduce shortages.
• Promote safety for customers and associates per company guidelines.
• Direct associates and workload; coach and recognize performance.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new associates; participate in workload planning meetings.
• Support Community Relations efforts through company programs.
