Job summary

National Mechanical Experts Inc. in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a Sales Representative to generate new business, handle lead generation, and network within the industry.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will aim to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales objectives for new maintenance contracts. Responsibilities include researching opportunities, delivering promotional material, meeting clients, and preparing proposals and RFP responses.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of B2B sales experience
• HVAC industry experience is ideal
• Excellent communication, presentation and persuasive skills
• Strong organizational skills with prioritization ability
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
• Must have access to a car, valid driver's license and good driving record; pass drug screening, background check, and work authorization

Responsibilities

• Research opportunities within assigned territory via cold calling, referrals and networking
• Prepare and deliver promotional material for prospective clients
• Respond to sales inquiries and meet with potential customers to assess needs
• Create proposals, presentations and RFP responses that address client needs
• Deliver on KPI targets and sales goals
• Communicate sales activity and pipeline forecasts to Sales Manager
• Gather and report on competitor activities affecting the company
• Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities
• Participate in industry networking events and trade shows
