Job summary

Ace Hardware in Lincoln City, OR is seeking a proactive Sales Associate for Business & Contractor Sales. You will build relationships with local contractors and businesses, identify opportunities, and coordinate orders to grow commercial accounts.

You’ll deliver excellent service to both business and retail customers, use Salesforce to track activity, and collaborate with the store team on inventory, quotes, and projects like Hunter Douglas installations.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, customer service, or retail.
• Strong communication and relationship-building.
• Organized with attention to detail and follow-through.
• Comfort making client calls and following up on opportunities and sales goals.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn business software and sales tools.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Grow business relationships with local businesses and opportunities.
• Coordinate special orders, product sourcing, inventory availability, and deliveries.
• Maintain accurate customer and sales activity records using Salesforce.
• Assist with Hunter Douglas blinds sales: measuring, ordering, and installation coordination.
• Share business insights with store team and help train associates on serving business customers.
• Assist retail customers, maintain merchandise, restock products, and support daily store operations.
