Job summary

Fastenal Co. seeks a full-time Sales Associate for the Blaine, MN branch. You will drive B2B sales and customer service, developing new partnerships and expanding existing relationships through a consultative approach.

Expect local travel, after onboarding, with a performance-driven path and potential flexible scheduling. Responsibilities include coordinating resources for customer needs, performing on-site visits, and contributing to branch success while upholding core values and safety

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Possess or are working towards a degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, Management or related field of study OR have customer service or industry related work experience.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Supporting business to business (B2B) sales and customer service activities
• Providing value to customer through a consultative sales approach
• Developing new and growing existing relationships from leads, referrals and prospecting
• Coordinating resources to respond to customer service needs
• Performing local sales calls driving a company vehicle to customer sites
• Performing other duties as needed to ensure branch success
