Job summary

Fastenal Co. in Riviera Beach, FL is seeking a Full-time Sales Associate to grow our book of business by developing new partnerships and strengthening existing relations using a consultative sales approach.

You will drive local sales calls, coordinate resources to respond to customer needs, and deliver value through our inventory management solutions. A valid driver's license and the ability to operate a company vehicle are required for on-site visits.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet driving record requirements to use a company vehicle
• Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, Management or related field OR customer service/industry experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Strong aptitude for sales and a desire to sell
• Motivated, self-directed and customer service oriented
• Strong math aptitude and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Supporting business to business (B2B) sales and customer service activities
• Providing value to customer through a consultative sales approach
• Developing new and growing existing relationships from leads, referrals and prospecting
• Coordinating resources to respond to customer service needs
• Performing local sales calls driving a company vehicle to customer sites
• Performing other duties as needed to ensure branch success
