Job summary

Orkin is seeking an Outside Sales Rep to join its Commercial sales team. You’ll understand Orkin’s products, sell to a variety of industries, and build trusted relationships to protect their business. You’ll meet sales goals through prospecting and leads, using marketing tools to drive growth, and conduct property inspections to tailor pest control solutions.

Qualifications

• No pest control experience required.
• Sales or customer relationship management experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license/certification if required (company paid).
• Ability to work in the field independently and interact with our great customers inside their businesses and/or homes.

Responsibilities

• Understand Orkin’s products and services and how to sell them to a variety of industries.
• Make strategic recommendations to new and existing customers to help prevent pests and satisfy regulatory standards.
• Solve problems and build trusted relationships as an essential partner protecting their business.
• Achieve sales goals through prospecting new business and assigned leads.
• Utilize marketing tools to drive new business development.
• Conduct an inspection of the interior and exterior of the customer’s property and present solutions.
