Job summary

Halpin Staffing Services is seeking a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to process orders, resolve inquiries, and provide administrative support to the call center team. The role requires strong communication, accuracy, and the ability to manage orders for large business customers in a fast-paced office environment.

The CSR will handle orders from multiple channels, assist with problem resolution, keep precise records, and contribute to tracking and verification processes.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in call centers, order processing, logistics, customer service, or general office work preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications, computers, and headsets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrates leadership, ethical conduct, and respect for diversity and inclusion.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work weekends and extended hours during peak holiday seasons, including Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Easter.
• Ability to work in an office environment with potential exposure to food allergens.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders received via phone, email, web, and other channels.
• Assist the call center team with order processing, problem resolution, and administrative tasks.
• Track and resolve customer complaints involving incorrect or delayed shipments.
• Maintain accurate records of customer inquiries, orders, and feedback.
• Support the development of tracking and verification processes to ensure accuracy.
• Provide general administrative support to office staff.
• Communicate with large business customers regarding orders and concerns.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
