Job summary

TCI Transportation seeks a Business Development Manager to expand Dedicated Transportation, Leasing, Maintenance, and Logistics services. You will act as a trusted advisor, uncover customer challenges, and build long-term partnerships while driving revenue growth.

The role emphasizes strategic selling, ROI-focused proposals, and cross-functional collaboration with Pricing and Operations to ensure competitive proposals. 5+ years of experience and Salesforce proficiency are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of business development, transportation sales, or consultative B2B sales experience.
• Proven ability to generate new business and close complex sales opportunities.
• Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience leading customer discovery meetings and solution-based selling.

Responsibilities

• Generate New Business by identifying, prospecting, and developing relationships with new customers.
• Build Trusted Partnerships by understanding each customer's operational challenges and delivering customized transportation solutions.
• Sell TCI's Complete Portfolio including: Dedicated Transportation, Fleet Leasing, Fleet Maintenance, Logistics Solutions, Transportation Services.
• Develop Business Cases by evaluating customer operations and demonstrating ROI.
• Lead Customer Meetings that uncover pain points and establish clear next steps.
