McNICHOLS, a leading metal supplier, seeks an Inside Sales Specialist to grow our customer base and service existing accounts from our Draper, UT location. You will build relationships, gather requirements, and present tailored metal solutions to varied industries.

Training is provided to ensure product knowledge and sales success. The role emphasizes accurate quotations, proactive customer support, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or equivalent sales experience preferred.
• Industrial/technical product sales or B2B experience.
• Strong math skills and ability to learn technical products.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel; typing 40 WPM.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; team player.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers via phone calls and emails.
• Identify and investigate customer requirements and provide tailored solutions to meet their needs.
• Make accurate, rapid cost calculations to prepare competitive customer quotations.
• Negotiate terms of agreements and close sales effectively.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to maximize sales opportunities.
• Advise on upcoming product developments and upsell promotions.
• Monitor inventory levels and track order progress.
• Analyze market data and customer insights to identify future buying needs and trends.
• Explore new markets and uncover potential business opportunities.
