Job summary

Flowerbuyer is seeking a self-driven Business Development Associate for our B2B flower-auction platform. You will grow a portfolio of accounts through high-volume outreach, relationship building, and strategic solutions.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in sales, strong objection-handling skills, and a customer-first mindset. This hourly + commission role offers remote work flexibility and paid training to help you thrive.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of sales experience; floral industry a plus.
• Proven ability to close deals and manage relationships over the phone.
• Experience with outbound sales, prospecting, and reactivating inactive customers is a plus.
• Customer-obsessed mindset with strong communication and execution skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish a high level of rapport with Teleflora florists and non-Teleflora partners.
• Call on and develop relationships with key retail florists via phone and Teams.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide custom products/solutions for top accounts.
• Utilize order entry, call tracking, and contact management software.
• Participate in sales, product, and process training.
• Meet and exceed daily time-on-phone selling targets.
