Qualifications

1–2+ years outside sales experience with hunter mentality.
Prospecting experience and success in generating new accounts/closing new business.
Strong prioritization, organizational and time management skills.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to use remote tools to conduct business.
Proficiency with MS Word, Gmail, Google Docs and/or Google Sheets.
Flooring product knowledge preferred.
Clean driving record and reliable transportation with daily travel.

Responsibilities

This role generates sales profitability, growth and account penetration within the multi-family/apartment market by selling flooring products and installation services.
Maintains a pipeline of new business through creative prospecting.
Demonstrates products and services to customers and assists in selecting best options.
Provides information for new accounts/customers.
Provides floor plans and pricing for accounts via templates.
Addresses customer complaints promptly.
Sets and achieves monthly and quarterly goals.
Performs random job site inspections and reports results to Operations.
Maintains an organized showroom and sales office.
Reports pricing/market changes to management.
Other duties as assigned.
