Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking a B2B Collections Specialist to join our onsite Pittsburgh team. You will manage a portfolio of commercial and wholesale accounts, contact customers, and pursue past-due balances to sustain healthy cash flow.

In this role, you will collaborate with Sales, Credit, Billing, and Cash Applications, review AR aging, resolve discrepancies, and maintain accurate collection records while upholding professional, customer-focused relationships.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in B2B collections or AR.
• Knowledge of NET terms, POs, payments, and customer portals.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Excellent detail orientation and organization.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of commercial, wholesale, and retail accounts with proactive outreach on past-due balances.
• Review AR aging, monitor credit limits and payment terms, identify higher-risk accounts to support DSO reduction.
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies, including short payments, pricing differences, tax issues, and PO mismatches.
• Communicate with business customers via phone and email regarding account status, statements, payments, and reconciliations.
• Partner with Sales, Credit, Billing, and Cash Applications teams to resolve account issues.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of collection activity and customer communications.
• Follow established collection procedures while maintaining positive customer relationships.

B2B COLLECTIONS SPECIALIST KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE B2B COLLECTIONS SPECIALIST ROLE

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in B2B collections or accounts receivable
• Working knowledge of purchase orders, payment terms, including NET terms, chargebacks, credits, reconciliations, and customer portals
• Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities in a deadline-driven environment
• Professional, persistent, and customer-focused approach to collections
