Job summary

Vaco is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage a portfolio of customer accounts in a fast-paced setting. You will monitor balances, prioritize collection activities, and conduct collection calls to secure payment commitments.

Responsibilities include identifying aging receivables and potential credit risks, investigating billing discrepancies, and resolving issues with internal teams. You will maintain detailed records, respond to inquiries, and support reconciliations while helping

Qualifications

• 2+ years in AR, collections, credit, or related finance role.
• Experience with B2B collections, account reconciliations, and AR aging reports.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for collection conversations.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities within a high-volume environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP or accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, monitoring outstanding balances and prioritizing collection activities.
• Conduct collection calls, secure payment commitments, and follow up on overdue invoices.
• Identify aging receivables, potential credit risks, and accounts requiring escalation.
• Investigate billing discrepancies, payment issues, deductions, and account variances.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve disputes and improve collection outcomes.
• Support payment research, cash application inquiries, and account reconciliations.
• Respond to customer questions regarding invoices, statements, and outstanding balances.
• Maintain accurate account records, collection notes, and reporting.
• Monitor receivables performance and contribute to team collection targets.
