Job summary

D&H Distributing Co. is seeking a Technical Specialist (TS) to lead pre-sales enablement, design BOMs, and act as a technical SME across assigned vendors. You’ll earn certifications and collaborate with partners, sales, and vendors to drive Revenue.

The TS will manage BOMs, help implement services, and ensure deep product knowledge to support revenue targets within the SMB and consumer markets. This role emphasizes CRM-driven case management and cross-functional teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent industry experience.
• 1 to 3 years sales, technology or related experience.
• Experience managing multiple vendor lines a plus.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and maintain deep technical knowledge, competencies and certifications for vendors within assigned solution category.
• Understand and attach relevant D&H services to solutions in assigned category.
• Work closely with partners, D&H sales and key vendors to design and enhance relevant solutions.
• Help the D&H achieve revenue and financial targets to advance the business.
• Utilize D&H CRM system to track and manage cases and opportunities.
• Deep understanding of all D&H and vendor systems and platforms required to execute job responsibilities.
• Develop and manage relationships with key vendors, partners and D&H team members to ensure mutual business success.
• Evangelize D&H Modern Solutions strategy.
• Other related duties as assigned.
