Job summary

Nova Solutions Group is seeking an IT Infrastructure Supervisor in Houston to lead the team responsible for Azure, M365, Active Directory, networking, and security. The role blends hands-on technical work with strong leadership and project delivery across cloud and on‑prem infrastructure.

You will manage Tier 1–3 support, drive change management, and partner with stakeholders to plan upgrades, security enhancements, and automation initiatives.

Qualifications

• 15+ years IT experience with 5+ years in Azure & M365
• Bachelor's degree required in IT/IS/Business admin or related field
• Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft cloud and infrastructure environments
• Strong networking experience with Cisco/Meraki, SD-WAN, VLANs, VPNs
• Experience administering domain objects, accounts, permissions, and scripts
• Knowledge of security, patching, backups, SSL certs, access control, change management

Responsibilities

• Lead Azure and M365 administration and security programs
• Oversee 24/7 availability through monitoring, incident response, and change controls
• Supervise Tier 1/2 teams; provide Tier 3 escalation and guidance
• Plan and execute server/network upgrades, cloud projects, and security improvements
• Develop and maintain automation using PowerShell and scripting
• Document IT procedures, configurations, and governance reports
