Job summary

The Atlas Group is seeking a Senior Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to own, maintain, and optimize our Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments. You will be the technical lead for cloud infrastructure across our aerospace and defense operations.

You'll drive automation, monitoring, governance, and security controls, ensuring compliance within a highly regulated environment while enabling scalable, reliable cloud services for our enterprise needs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years IT infrastructure or cloud experience.
• 3+ years hands-on Azure environments.
• Strong Microsoft 365 and Entra ID experience.
• Experience with hybrid cloud and on-prem infrastructure.
• Knowledge of cloud networking, VPNs, DNS, and firewalls.
• PowerShell scripting and automation proficiency.
• Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize Microsoft Azure resources and services.
• Administer hybrid cloud environments with on-prem integration.
• Ensure availability, reliability and performance of cloud systems.
• Plan capacity and manage resources in Azure.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, Intune).
• Manage Microsoft Entra ID and MFA, SSO.
• Support compliance with CMMC, NIST 800-171.
• Configure monitoring, backup and disaster recovery.
• Implement IaC using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring.
