Job summary

Princeton IT Services, Inc. seeks a Sr. Azure Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise Azure infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Azure cloud services, networking, security, automation, and hybrid infrastructures. The role focuses on designing and deploying Azure infrastructure, managing VMs, VNets, storage, security, and IaC with Terraform, ARM/Bicep, PowerShell, and Azure CLI.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering or cloud engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of Azure networking, VMs, storage, Azure AD/Entra ID, and security.
• Experience with hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
• Azure certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Azure infrastructure and cloud services.
• Manage Azure VMs, VNets, storage, networking, load balancing, and related services.
• Support hybrid connectivity between Azure and on-premises environments.
• Implement and maintain Azure security, IAM, RBAC, and access controls.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, ARM, or Bicep.
• Automate infrastructure and operational processes using PowerShell and Azure CLI.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity using Azure monitoring tools.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, networking, and cloud-related issues.
• Support backup, disaster recovery, high availability, and business continuity solutions.
• Collaborate with DevOps, security, networking, and application teams.
• Maintain technical documentation, standards, and operational procedures.
