BMO Financial Group is seeking a Principal Azure Platform Engineer in the United States to design, build, and operate scalable Azure infrastructure and platform services. You will drive secure, reusable capabilities with IaC, CI/CD, and governance in cross‑functional pods across engineering and security.

The role blends deep technical execution with collaboration to evolve Azure services, guardrails, and patterns that enable teams to adopt best practices and deliver workloads securely and

Qualifications

Hands-on Azure engineering in large-scale or regulated environments.
Strong understanding of Azure networking, identity, and governance.
Experience designing for scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
Proven ability to operate production Azure environments.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and operate Azure infrastructure and platform services.
Implement landing zones, subscriptions, networking and governance.
Create reusable platform capabilities and guided deployment patterns.
Apply DevOps and SRE practices including CI/CD, monitoring, and alerts.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable cloud adoption.
