Job summary

Invesco is seeking a Principal Cloud Engineer to design and evolve the enterprise Azure cloud platform, driving automation, governance, and GenAI adoption across the organization.

The role partners with application teams, security, and infrastructure to deliver secure, scalable cloud solutions while mentoring engineers and shaping platform strategy.

You will lead technical decisions, establish enterprise patterns, and foster a culture of innovation and automation across diverse teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of infrastructure, platform, or cloud engineering experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on Azure engineering and architecture in enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve Azure cloud platform capabilities, landing zones, and shared services.
• Define reference architectures and reusable patterns for secure, scalable cloud adoption.
• Lead decisions on cloud architecture, resiliency, security, and observability.
• Introduce emerging Azure and Generative AI technologies to enhance platform capabilities.
