Job summary

The Odom Corporation is seeking a System Administrator I to join our Information Systems team. This role supports day-to-day operation, security, and reliability of our technology environment across multiple locations, including Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, and endpoint management.

This is an excellent entry point for an early-career IT professional to gain hands-on experience in a broad technology environment while supporting a multi-state organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, certifications, and experience.
• Experience supporting technology systems, devices, applications, or infrastructure in a business or educational environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to learn new technologies and work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Infrastructure & Cloud Operations: Administer Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, and related infrastructure.
• Support system upgrades, patching, and approved infrastructure changes.
• Monitor system health and resolve reliability and performance issues.
• Help maintain secure and stable technology services across the organization.
• Microsoft 365 & End-User Platforms: Support Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Intune-managed devices.
• Troubleshoot access, authentication, permissions, and device-related issues.
• Assist users with escalated technical support requests.
• Support user, device, and account administration activities.
• Backup, Recovery & Cybersecurity: Monitor backups, assist in recovery, patch management, and security initiatives.
• Service Management & Documentation: Document incidents, changes, resolutions; maintain docs and procedures.
• Communicate clearly with users and stakeholders; participate in upgrades and improvements.
