Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a Cloud Engineer in Plano, TX to design and implement public cloud infrastructure using Terraform and IaC automation. You will develop landing zones, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud services with IAM, networking, security as code, in a hybrid work setup.

Collaborate with security and DevOps teams to deliver enterprise-grade data platform solutions. Ideal candidates have 5–7 years of experience in enterprise cloud environments and strong Terraform, Ansible, Java, and Python

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in enterprise-scale cloud environments.
• 3–5 years of experience writing Terraform configurations and modules.
• Experience with infra-as-code, config-as-code, and policy-as-code.
• Knowledge of landing zones, cloud security, monitoring and logging, Well-Architected Framework.
• Strong ability to translate designs into fully developed Terraform code.

Responsibilities

• Write public cloud infrastructure as code automation with Terraform.
• Design landing zones to build core cloud services.
• Develop cloud provisioning automation with IAM, network, and security as code.
• Implement resiliency, observability, and FinOps for data PaaS.
• Develop and maintain cloud services catalog for developers and DevOps teams.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines for the cloud data analytics platform.
• Collaborate with product management and operations in Agile.
• Partner with Security to engineer secure cloud patterns.
• Translate business requirements into technical definitions and playbooks.
• Ensure solutions comply with enterprise standards.
• Promote an inclusive and healthy working environment.
