Job summary

Everforth ECS seeks a Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our Arlington, VA office or work remotely. The role focuses on secure cloud infrastructure, automation, and DevSecOps across AWS services using Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD tooling.

You will implement security controls, maintain compliant configurations, and collaborate with security teams to push best practices. Required are 3+ years in Linux/Windows administration, IaC with Terraform/Ansible, and container orchestration with Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years Linux/Windows admin including DNS, VPN, firewalls.
• Hands-on CI/CD, IaC at scale, and secure-by-default pipelines.
• Experience with NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, and DISA STIGs is required.
• Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design secure cloud infrastructure on AWS with Terraform/Ansible.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with security baked in.
• Automate deployments using IaC to ensure consistency.
• Operate containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Ensure compliance and document workflows for future teams.
• Collaborate with development and security teams to advance DevSecOps.
