Job summary

Atmosera is seeking a Cloud Desktop Support Technician to join the Azure Managed Services division. You will act as the escalation point for complex Azure and hybrid cloud issues, mentor junior staff, and drive operational improvements.

The role covers 3rd shift (Sun-Wed, Midnight–11am PT) with a contractor setup and potential travel to client sites. You will work closely with IT teams and clients to ensure stability and growth in cloud environments.

Qualifications

3+ years system administration or cloud support experience.
2+ years networking and security experience (firewalls, VPNs, load balancing).
Proven Azure cloud administration experience; MSP background strongly preferred.
Proficiency in automation (PowerShell, CLI, ARM templates, or Bicep).
Strong troubleshooting skills with logs, telemetry, and events.
Experience in 24x7 managed services or hosted environments.

Responsibilities

Serve as an escalation point for Cloud Technicians on complex Azure and hybrid cloud issues.
Monitor, analyze, and resolve incidents across Azure and vSphere platforms.
Install, configure, and administer customer resources in Azure.
Manage escalated alerts, configuration issues, and undocumented troubleshooting scenarios.
Perform patch remediation and manual updates.
Manage network platforms, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancing (Palo Alto and Azure Networking).
Address configuration issues within event management tooling and alerts.
Build and maintain expertise in Atmosera’s monitoring infrastructure.
