Job summary

This full-time role focuses on Azure cloud support, incident management, and automation to ensure secure, reliable client environments.

You will work with Windows and Linux servers, Hyper-V/VMware hypervisors, and Azure services, including Site Recovery and Lighthouse.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in Azure Cloud support / administration.
• Experience with automation using scripting languages (PowerShell, Bicep) and CI/CD practices.
• Network platforms and firewalls (VPNs, policy management, load balancing).
• Backup & Recovery: Azure Site Recovery configuration and troubleshooting.
• ITIL best practices for incident and problem management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with clients.
• Strong analytical mindset with root-cause analysis and knowledge development.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Preferred experience with Hyper-V and VMware.
• Preferred Certifications: Microsoft Azure Admin (AZ-104) – obtain within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Networking & Security: Manage network platforms, firewalls, VPNs, and policy-based routing and load balancing.
• Azure Expertise: 3+ years in Azure Cloud support; AZ-104 preferred.
• Incident Management: Escalation point for technicians, troubleshoot incidents, manage change, communicate with clients.
• Documentation & Training: Create and maintain SOPs, runbooks, automation docs.
• Client Focus: Deliver exceptional client service throughout the service lifecycle.
• Cloud Environment Management: Monitor and manage Azure-based environments and Lighthouse usage.
• Compliance & Security: Adhere to frameworks such as FedRAMP, NIST, PCI-DSS, HIPAA; implement security best practices.
• Infrastructure Automation & Orchestration: Use PowerShell, Bicep; develop IaC templates for automation.
• On-call Support: Participate in on-call rotation to meet SLAs.
