Job summary

CDW is seeking an experienced Microsoft infrastructure support engineer focused on Azure, Microsoft 365, and related technologies. You will diagnose and resolve customer issues in a fast-paced, case-driven environment, collaborating with peers and engaging Microsoft when needed.

The role emphasizes clear communication, SLA adherence, and on-call participation, with opportunities to mentor teammates and contribute to knowledge articles. A strong customer-service mindset is essential.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft technologies, with strong knowledge of Azure.
Experience with Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, SCCM, or Intune.
Bachelor's degree and 3 years of Microsoft support experience or 7 years IT engineering experience including Microsoft support.

Responsibilities

Serve as a trusted technical support resource for customers experiencing Microsoft infrastructure and cloud issues.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues involving Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and related Microsoft technologies.
Assess customer issues quickly, identify root causes, and drive cases through resolution.
Manage service requests through a case queue and provide accurate status updates.
Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and incident details in tracking systems.
Collaborate with peers and engage Microsoft support when escalation is required.
Communicate clearly with customers and stakeholders about technical problems and next steps.
Participate in an on-call rotation with 24x7 coverage and Pacific Time hours.
