Zachary Piper Solutions seeks a Sr. Cloud and Infrastructure Engineer for a hybrid role in Bethesda, MD. You will design, build, and operate secure, scalable Azure infrastructure, leading architecture and automation efforts.

Responsibilities include managing Azure environments, implementing IaC, securing networking, and driving disaster recovery strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to support cloud-native and serverless solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure or cloud engineering, focused on Azure environments.
• Extensive IaC experience and strong knowledge of Azure networking, resiliency planning, and security frameworks.
• Hands-on with Azure-native recovery tools and modern app ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and day-to-day management of Azure environments for stability and performance.
• Develop automated provisioning using Infrastructure as Code to standardize deployments.
• Design secure cloud networking to connect platform services and applications.
• Drive DR and backup strategies aligned with business continuity goals.
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations on cloud-native/serverless solutions.
