Job summary

Atlas Search is seeking an Azure Infrastructure Engineer to own and enhance our Azure and hybrid cloud environment. You will act as the SME for Azure infrastructure and networking, partnering with security and an MSP to ensure robust, secure operations.

You will design core Azure services, manage governance and disaster recovery, implement IaC with PowerShell and Terraform tools, and apply Zero Trust across enterprise AI deployments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in infrastructure engineering.
• 3+ years running production Azure environments.
• Azure networking expertise with strong enterprise networking fundamentals.
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, and Conditional Access.
• Proficiency in PowerShell and an IaC tool (Bicep, ARM, or Terraform).
• Working knowledge of Defender, Zero Trust, and enterprise AI data access security.

Responsibilities

• Own the design and operation of core Azure services, governance, and disaster recovery.
• Maintain hybrid connectivity to on-prem Windows Server, AD, and Entra ID.
• Build Infrastructure-as-Code and automate operations with PowerShell and Azure tooling.
• Apply Zero Trust principles and support security remediation with Microsoft Defender tools.
• Support secure deployment of enterprise AI platforms (Copilot, Azure OpenAI).
