Job summary

The Phoenix Group is seeking an experienced Azure Architect to design, deploy, and optimize cloud infrastructure in a secure, scalable Azure environment. You will lead hybrid cloud integration and manage IAM, security, and governance across on‑premises and cloud resources.

Responsibilities include implementing IaC with Terraform/ARM/Bicep, automating deployments via PowerShell and Azure CLI, and ensuring cost efficiency and high availability for business platforms.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience managing large infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Extensive hands-on knowledge of Azure architecture components (compute, network, identity, security).
• Proven experience in hybrid cloud solutions integrating on-premises with Azure.
• Strong security expertise in regulated or professional services settings.
• Experience with cloud monitoring, performance tuning, and cost control tools.
• Certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage enterprise-scale Azure cloud infrastructure (compute, networking, storage).
• Integrate Azure with on‑premises systems and hybrid environments for seamless data flow.
• Administer Azure Active Directory and IAM policies with security configurations.
• Deploy and maintain Azure VMs, virtual networks, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Automate infrastructure deployment with IaC tools (Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep) and scripting (PowerShell, Azure CLI).
• Monitor performance, analyze cost utilization, and optimize resources using Azure tools.
• Collaborate with security and IT teams to enforce compliance and business continuity plans.
• Lead cloud governance efforts, including security audits and policy enforcement.
• Support Linux workloads in Azure, including patching, hardening, and performance tuning.
