Job summary

The University of Central Florida - College of Medicine is seeking a Cloud Computing Engineer I to join the IT Enterprise Infrastructure team on the Orlando campus. The role focuses on Azure cloud services, Microsoft infrastructure, and automation to support academic, research, and administrative functions.

You will deploy and manage Azure resources, monitor performance and costs, and contribute to ITSM processes, security, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and core Microsoft technologies.
• Knowledge of ITIL, security/compliance concepts, and cloud infrastructure best practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support for Azure cloud infrastructure and core Microsoft services.
• Deploy Azure resources, monitor performance, and optimize costs.
• Develop automation and IaC solutions using PowerShell and Terraform.
• Support IT service management processes, documentation, and security/compliance activities.
• Maintain technical documentation and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
