Job summary

The University of Central Florida IT department in Orlando is seeking an AI Solutions Engineer II to partner with university departments and the AI acceleration team to design, prototype, build, and validate AI-enabled solutions.

You will own the early solution life cycle from discovery through initial build, testing, and transition to development or operations, working with multiple stakeholders to translate needs into concrete designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of relevant experience; or HS diploma with 6 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business, technical, data, and integration requirements.
• Experience facilitating discovery sessions and workshops with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, prioritize, and document business, functional, data, integration, security, and operational requirements.
• Translate requirements into solution concepts and build plans using AI, automation, and low-code platforms.
• Lead UAT, implementation readiness, and knowledge transfer to operations teams.
• Collaborate with diverse departments to understand objectives and service needs.
• Maintain solution documentation, process maps, and narrative artifacts.
