Job summary
SCOR is seeking an experienced IT Tech Lead to guide our Tech & Data team in building next-generation reinsurance systems. You will architect scalable, cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure, lead a polyglot engineering team, and drive AI-enabled capabilities with a strong emphasis on responsible AI. Hybrid work policy supports 3 days in office and 2 days remote; relocation within the U.S.
is available. Location: United States (KC region).
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, MIS or equivalent experience.
- Experience in insurance/reinsurance or financial services is a plus.
- 7+ years delivering solutions in enterprise environments.
- Backend: Java (Spring) or .NET (C#); frontend: Angular/React with TS/HTML5/CSS3.
- Azure native design, AKS proficiency, and cloud-based CI/CD.
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and development of scalable Azure-based platform.
- Guide polyglot team in backend services and modern UIs.
- Drive cloud, containerization, and CI/CD best practices.
- Partner with data scientists to operationalize AI services.
- Mentor engineers and collaborate with stakeholders across the US.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security standards.
