Job summary

SCOR Group is seeking an experienced IT Tech Lead to drive the design, development, and deployment of our Azure-based reinsurance platform. You will lead a polyglot team across Java/Spring Boot, .NET, and modern frontend frameworks, while embedding AI capabilities responsibly.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with business users nationwide, and ensure secure handling of PII within a hybrid in-office model in the US. Relocation assistance within the US is available.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience designing and delivering solutions in Insurance/Financial services.
• Deep backend expertise in Java Spring Boot or .NET C#, ideally both.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design and development of core reinsurance platform on Microsoft Azure.
• Guide a polyglot engineering team in backend services and frontend UI.
• Drive CI/CD and containerization with AKS/ACA.
• Collaborate with data scientists to operationalize AI services.
• Mentor and develop team, fostering technical excellence and learning.
• Work with stakeholders to translate requirements into elegant solutions.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy and security standards (PII).
• Oversee issue resolution and root-cause analysis.
