Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks a Solutions Architect focused on U.S. Defense Department cloud solutions. You will own technical engagements, define architectures, respond to RFI/RFPs, and deepen expertise in AWS services to guide secure app deployments.

You’ll lead best-practice knowledge sharing within the AWS architect community and collaborate across teams to educate others on design and security considerations for defense workloads.

Qualifications

• 2+ years design/implementation/consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 3+ years in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics.
• Preferred: experience with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical engagement and success around specific implementation projects.
• Define implementation architectures and contribute to RFI/RFP responses.
• Develop deep expertise in AWS technologies and how to build applications on the platform.
• Be a subject matter expert on security for customer applications and services.
• Lead knowledge sharing within the AWS solution architect community.
• Collaborate across teams to educate and mentor others on best practices.
