Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Principal Account Executive for US Greenfield Cross Industry to drive revenue growth in Fortune 2000 accounts and expand AWS adoption through CXO-level and IT stakeholder engagements.

This role requires a strong sales and technical background, a territory plan, and the ability to meet quarterly targets with moderate travel. You will represent AWS across the portfolio to accelerate customer adoption and grow market share.

Qualifications

10+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives experience.
10+ years of technology sales experience.

Responsibilities

Drive digital transformation through engagement with C-level executives, IT leaders, architects, developers, and lines of business within Enterprise accounts.
Drive revenue and market share in defined territory or industry vertical.
Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets.
Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan.
Create and articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services.
Accelerate customer adoption and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
Work with partners to extend reach and drive adoption.
Manage contract negotiations and develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.
