Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, seeks an AWS Connect Developer to design, implement, and maintain cloud-based contact center solutions. You will develop IVR flows, Python-based Lambda functions, and secure API integrations, ensuring reliable routing and data access across enterprise apps.

You will automate provisioning with Terraform, manage GitLab CI/CD workflows, and uphold strong security, performance, and operational visibility for mission-critical contact center

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 8–15 years IT experience including 3–4 years cloud engineering experience.
• Associate-level cloud service provider certification required.
• Hands-on experience with Amazon Connect configuration and administration, including advanced IVR design, contact attributes, queue routing, transfers, and error-handling paths.
• Proficiency developing Python-based AWS Lambda functions and RESTful API integrations, including event parsing, response validation, timeout management, authentication, authorization, and downstream failure recovery.
• Experience with DynamoDB data modeling, Terraform provisioning, and GitLab CI/CD workflows, supported by strong cloud scripting, documentation, and cross-service troubleshooting skills.
• U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain Amazon Connect contact flows, including attributes, queue routing, transfers, IVR branching, and error-handling paths.
• Develop Python-based AWS Lambda functions to extend contact center capabilities and manage timeouts and downstream failures.
• Design and optimize DynamoDB tables, keys, and indexes for efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Build secure RESTful integrations using API Gateway and Lambda with proper validation and error handling.
• Provision and maintain cloud infrastructure with Terraform and manage GitLab CI/CD workflows for automated testing and environment promotion.
• Implement least-privilege permissions and secure integration boundaries.
