Job summary

Sourcebooks is seeking a Product Manager, Awareness Platform to join our Digital team and own our mobile and web experiences from discovery through delivery and ongoing optimization. This role requires hands‑on product ownership, customer advocacy, and leadership of roadmaps and backlogs across web and mobile.

You will translate reader feedback and analytics into improvements, partnering with development from discovery through release.

Qualifications

5+ years in product management or digital product leadership.
Experience working with software development teams to define, prioritize, test, and release product improvements.
Technical fluency across mobile/web lifecycles, integrations, subscriptions, backend systems, and release processes.
Excellent project management, QA, vendor management, and cross‑functional communication skills.
Experience with consumer subscription, membership, content/media, or direct‑to‑consumer digital products.

Responsibilities

Own reader platform experiences from discovery through delivery and optimization.
Translate customer feedback and analytics into product improvements.
Partner with development from discovery through release; improve onboarding, navigation, subscriptions, engagement, retention, and UX/UI.
Manage external development partners, vendors, SOWs/RFPs, and growth initiatives.
Ground roadmap decisions in customer needs, behavior, data, and technical realities.
Launch new features with strong requirements, QA, measurement, and post‑launch iteration.
