Job summary

Firelands Health is seeking a behavioral health professional to deliver diagnostic assessments, individual/family/group therapies, and crisis intervention under supervision. You will help develop treatment plans, document care, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Therapists rendering mental health services must hold an active LPC or LSW license.
• Substance use therapists must have an active dependent license (CDCA/LCDC-II/III) preferred.
• 180-day probationary period is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide full range of behavioral health treatment: diagnostic assessment, individual/family/group therapy, crisis intervention.
• Diagnose and treat behavioral health disorders within scope and supervision; adhere to Medicaid/Medicare, ACHC, OhioMHAS, CARF standards.
• Engage in professional development and use best practices to support patient engagement and recovery.
• Support patient safety with risk screening and crisis plans; coordinate with afterhours services as needed.
• Contribute to treatment planning, documentation, and HIPAA-compliant communications.
• Utilize EMR and video-conferencing software and maintain timely communication within FRMC.
• Collaborate with team to improve quality and patient satisfaction.
